Gömb

"Szakdolgozatom a kör szimbolikájával foglalkozik. A kör a legősibb geometriai alakzat, tökéletes szabályos vonal, szakrális hely, határtalan tér, korlátlan idő, egy pont, kozmikus gesztus, örökkévaló, középpontja mindenhol, kerülete sehol, transzcendens, isteni, ciklikus keringés. Tervezőként a forma jelenléte érdekel a színpadi alkalmazásban, vagyis a kör, kiterjesztése a gömb, a tér és a test viszonyrendszere. Foglalkoztat hogyan helyezkedik a gömbbe az emberi test, egyé tud-e válni vele, magára öltheti-e tulajdonságait, részesül-e a teljességében, harmóniájában, végnélküli dinamikájában, vagy csak az erre való törekvést tapasztalhatjuk. Az önmagát kiteljesítő forma, a gömb közege lesz a mozgásnak vagy csupán determinálja azt?"

"My thesis focuses on the symbolism of the circle. The circle is the most ancient geometrical shape: a perfectly round form, a sacred place, limitless space, time unbound, a single dot, a cosmic gesture, eternal, all centre and no circumference, transcendental, divine, cyclic rotation? As a designer I am interested in how circles are used on the stage. In other words, the spatial relationship between the circle, physical space and the human body. I am intrigued by how the human body fits into the sphere: whether it can merge with it, embody its qualities, partake in its completeness, harmony, and endless dynamics, or if we can only ever aspire towards it. Can the sphere as a self-fulfilling form serve as a medium for movement or merely determine it?"
